Recipe Mexican Coleslaw
Find favorite recipes for delicious salads and sauces to go with our burritos! In this episode, our product developer Jeroen shows you how to prepare a tasty and healthy Mexican Coalslaw. Perfect with our Mexican Beef Burrito!
Ingredients:
250 gr white cabbage
200 gr red cabbage
1 big carrot
50 gr raisins
1 bunch of coriander
2 pieces of spring onion
50 gr seeds of a pomegranate
2 spoons of creme fraiche
1 spoon of mayonnaise
1 lime part
1 small spoon of chili flakes
50 gr cashew
What to do:
Cut the cabbage and the carrot in fine slices and add raisins. Mix together.
Mix the creme fraiche, mayonnaise, juice of a lime and chili flakes. Add this mix to the coleslaw.
Serve the salad in an elegant bowl en garnish with chopped coriander, pomegranate, spring onion and cashew.
Recipe Fresh Mint Salad
Find favorite recipes for delicious salads and sauces to go with our burritos! In this episode our sales manager Marco shows you how to prepare a fresh salad with mango, cucumber and mint.
Ingredients:
1 mango
1 cucumber
½ red onion
5 twigs of mint
1 lime
1 spoon of soya sauce
1 handful of chopped peanuts
1 spring onion
salt and pepper
What to do:
Chop the mango in blocks, cut the cucumber over its length in parts of four, remove seeds and chop in blocks.
Chop de red onion and the spring onion in fine slices.
Gather the mint leaves and chop roughly into smaller pieces (keep some leaves for garnishing).
Mix all of the above ingredients with the soya sauce and lime juice and adjust taste to own preference with salt and salad.
Serve your salad in a beautiful bowl and garnish it with roughly chopped peanuts and mint leaves.
Recipe Guacamole
Find favorite recipes for delicious salads and sauces to go with our burritos! In this episode our operations manager Walther helps you prepare an easy and very delicious guacamole. Perfect in combination with our Mexican Beef Burrito and nachos.
Ingredients:
2 pomodori tomatoes
2 avocados
1 red onion
Juice of half a lemon
½ teaspoon crush cumin
6 a 8 twigs of coriander
salt and pepper
What to do:
Chop the tomatoes in four parts each and remove seeds. Then chop in cubes of 5 by 5 mm.
Shred the onions in pieces and add these to the tomato cubes.
Crush the cumin in a mortar and chop the coriander. Add both ingredients to the mix of tomatoes.
Chop or squash the avocado and mix with the tomato mix. Add lemon juice.
Add salt and pepper to own preference.
